Paul Leithold grew up “in the middle of music”.  He started guitar lessons and age four and has been playing ever since!  Growing up in the family music store exposed to Paul to many different musicians.  They would play and talk about their performance experiences.  This was fascinating to him.  After receiving a degree in music from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Paul traveled the Midwest playing music professionally.  It is still a way of life now—an appreciation of all styles of music, and the fun and satisfaction of sharing music.  During the day he now works in the family music business—“the best job in the world!”—as well as playing music regularly in many venues around the area.  Paul and his awesome wife Mary (also a very talented musician) have a blended family of five girls and one boy ranging in age from 25 years to 5½ year old twins—don't forget the ½!  They live in Onalaska.

Troy Birdsong graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1992 with Bachelors of Music Education, and went on to the University of Louisville to pursue a Masters of Music in double bass performance.  After completing that degree in 1994, Troy lived in Lexington, KY, and was a freelance bassist, performing in such orchestras as the Owensboro (KY) Symphony, West Virginia Symphony, Louisville (KY) Orchestra and the Lexington (KY) Philharmonic.  In 1996, Troy began teaching orchestra in the Fayette County Public Schools in Lexington, KY,  In 1998, Troy moved to Onalaska, WI where he lives now with his wife, Sharolyn, and their three children Garrick (8), Connor (6) and Larsen (4).  In addition to teaching orchestra in the School District of Holmen, Troy is also the principal double bass and Assistant Conductor  for the La Crosse Symphony, and is a member of the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra.  He also plays jazz gigs with various musicians in the La Crosse area.  Mr. Birdsong graduated from Holmen High School in 1986, and maintains a website for Holmen alumni at www.holmenalumni.com.
